Version: 4.0.0
Audacity 4.0.0 is available WITH or WITHOUT MuseHub. This add-on has had questionable, "dark/shady" behavior. As such, download the no-MuseHub version directly from the dev site. - -> Summary: "MuseHub is not malware by default, but it can exhibit behaviors that may seem intrusive, such as background operations and product updates. If you suspect it is malicious, verify the source and signature of the installer, and consider removing it if it does not match the official version."

Version: 3.5.1
If you're running an Intel Mac Audacity 3.5.1 (Universal) hangs and won't complete verification.
I couldn't find a way around it but I tried the version of 3.5.1 specifically for Macs powered by Intel processors, and it worked fine.
